Our collaboration started in 2018 — LegalKite needed a team with a strong understanding of the Swiss market specifics, which included regulations, design code, and cooperation specifics. We’ve already had a strong portfolio of software projects in Switzerland and were looking for a project to expand our regtech portfolio specifically. LegalKite was aiming to rebuild its existing platform for legal information management and enhance it with new features.
LegalKite
to search for law information faster.
Software modernization
LegalKite already had some developments — it was a platform able to provide basic legal data search solutions. The goal of cooperation at the reengineering stage was to make it faster, and more efficient, and eliminate technical bottlenecks.
Our core goals were
What empowered LegalKite to become the ultimate solution for Swiss lawyers
LegalKite database provides access to a vast repository of Switzerland’s federal laws, legal references, notes, court decisions, and opinions. Focusing on the idea of providing the shortest way to find any legal information lawyers may need, we empowered LegalKite with solutions for data structuring and content search engines.
Users can filter content by language, annotation, titles, authors, and tags, which accelerates their workflows and introduces additional flexibility.
Users can annotate the content they need and save those annotations for themselves or publish them for the community. The core idea was to create a faster way for professionals to manage legal content and create well-designed references.
The ability to collaborate on annotations in public or private groups empowers organizations and legal departments to move through their research and solution development processes faster.
Despite the fact that LegalKite has been able to reach most of its audience right away after the initial release, we decided to put special effort into developing an architecture that allows for smooth scaling and seamless new feature development. Years after our cooperation, LegalKite added flowchart support and exam functionality for educators thanks to the decisions made in 2018.
